Nederlands: Collectie Voorhelm Schneevoogt Inventarisnummer NL-HlmNHA_1477_53010137 Beschrijving De godin Daphne. Een beeld van Apollos geliefde Daphne, in een nis geplaatst. Daphne is op de vlucht voor Apollo die haar achtervolgd. Haar vader geeft aan haar bidden gehoor en redt haar door haar te verwandelen in een laurierboom. Uit haar hoofd beginnen al laurierbladen te sprieten. Ze draagt een pijlenkoker en boog als verwijzing naar Apollo. Naast haar staat een oehoe. Met Latijns onderschrift. Zestiende prent uit een genummerde, twintigdelige prentenserie met goden uit de klassieke oudheid. Gravure door Nicolaes Braeu naar ontwerptekening van Karel van Mander, met Latijns onderschrift toegeschreven aan Cornelius Schonaeus; rechtsonder genummerd '16', in handschrift '67' én 'No 268'.
