Description
Nederlands: Luchtopname. De dijkdoorbraak bij Elden onder Arnhem. Om het Rijnfront makkelijker te kunnen verdedigen, besluiten de Duitsers de Betuwe onder water te zetten. Ze breken de Rijndijk door op een punt dat ongeveer 500 meter ten oosten van de toen reeds vernielde spoorbrug bij Oosterbeek ligt. In de nacht van 3 december 1944 stroomt het water met geweld door het grote gat in de dijk.
