Description

Op 30 september 1938 sloten Chamberlain, Daladier, Hitler en Mussolini in München een overeenkomst waarbij Sudetenland aan Duitsland werd overgedragen. De vrede is gered, dacht men.

The Munich Pact was an agreement permitting Nazi German annexation of Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland. The agreement was negotiated at a conference held in Munich, Germany, among the major powers of Europe without the presence of Czechoslovakia. The agreement was signed in the early hours of 30 September 1938 (but dated 29 September). The agreement was signed by Nazi Germany, France, Britain, and Italy.
