Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Built at Hatfield in April 1945 as a B.35 bomber, ‘TA634’ was later converted into a TT.35 trainer. Withdrawn from use in 1961, she was flown to Speke Airport in November 1963 for display by the City of Liverpool but was instead only stored. In 1968 she was civil registered as G-AWJV to fly in the movie ‘633 Squadron’, which was filmed at Bovingdon airfield.

After this she joined what was then the ‘Mosquito Air Museum’ where she was initially displayed as ‘HX922’ coded ‘EF-G’, before beautifully restored to B.35 standard and the markings of 571sqn RAF. She shares the Walter Goldsmith hangar with two other Mosquitos, FB.VI ‘TA122’ and prototype ‘W4050’. de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, UK.
