English: c/n 8027.
Built 1935, originally as a DH87A with tapered wings. These were soon replaced with the later squarer type and she became a DH87B. Impressed into RAF service during WW2 and given the British military serial ‘X9326’. She returned to civil use after the war and joined the museum in 1974. She is now on display in the newly completed Sir Geoffrey de Havilland hangar de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, UK. 12th July 2020 |
