Description
Nederlands: De leiding over TFU is vanaf deze week in handen van brigadegeneraal Kees van den Heuvel en civiel vertegenwoordiger de heer Jennes de Mol. Zij sturen de komende zes maanden, als commandant TFU VIII en directeur van het Provinciaal Reconstructie Team (PRT), de uitgezonden militairen en burgers in de Afghaanse provincie aan. Hun voorgangers, brigadegeneraal Marc van Uhm en civiel vertegenwoordiger Michiel Rentenaar keren morgen terug in Nederland. Ook de Air Task Force (ATF) kwam onder nieuw commando. Op Kandahar Airfield droeg kolonel Peter Tankink het bevel over aan kolonel Jos Leenders.
