Description
English:
Four facades, two partly three storey building. Built to Hungarian Royal Civic Court Palace in Eclectic style according plans of Károly Meixner and Béla Ney in 1882 and 1883. South part extended in 1906. A Justitia metal statue group is on its roof (1883 works). There are faded plaques above entries: 1st: 'During the reign of King Franz Joseph I' - second plaque: 'During the tenure of Dr. Tivadar Pauler as Minister of Justice, it was built on the basis of Act LVIII of 1881 in 1882' In the four corners of the memorial plaque there is a figure edited from the letters of the name of the royal commissioner Lajos Tisza. - 4 Széchenyi Square= 3 Wesselényi Street= 4-6 Vörösmarty Street=9-11 Deák Ferenc Street, Belváros (Inner City) neighborough, Szeged, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Négyszögletes telekre két részletben épült a négy utcára néző, három udvaros épület. Homlokzata a tér felé 5+1+3+1+5, a Deák Ferenc utcára 6+3+6, a Vörösmarty utcára 5+3+K+3+5, a Wesselényi utcára 5+7+5 tengely középrizalitokkal. Magyar Királyi Polgári Törvényszéki Palota. Eklektikus, 1882-1883, 1906. Építészek: Meixner Károly, Ney Béla. - A tér felőli rész terveit Nádai Antal kir. s. mérnök építésvezető, Heszlényi József, Strenge és Herkner társvállalkozók jegyezték. A Wesselényi, a Deák Ferenc és Vörösmarty utca határolta kir. ítélő tábla telkeire, a meglévő palota épület háromemeletessé bővítése 1906-ban készült el. A hozzáépítést jól elkülöníti a főpárkány fölé emelkedő, szerény méretű harmadik emelet. Az oromzaton Justitia-szoborcsoport (Felállítás 1883., öntött horgany, másfélszeres életnagyságú, valószínűleg Bachó Viktor ?? építész rajzai alapján készült. A törvényszéki palota oromzatára jelképként helyezték el mellette két mitológikus? nőalak, a bal oldali engesztelő testartású, a jobb oldali törvénykönyvet tart. - A falsík a földszinten kváderozva van az emeleteken fugázott tégla. A lábazatban pinceablakok, az ablaksorok íves záródásúak. Az övpárkányok a földszinten és a második emeleten egyben összefüggő ablakpárkányok. A főhomlokzat kapuja íves, két oldalán a csigás fejű oszlopok timpanont tartanak, alatta „Az igazságnak” fölirat, az ívmező üvegezve van. A kétoldali bejárat egyenesen zárul, fölöttük a márványtáblák, föliratuk nehezen olvasható:. az első tábla szövege: 'I.
