Description
English: The Day Gekkos (genus Phelsuma) are a kind of small lizards which are widespread throughout Seychelles, Madagascar, and surrounding islands. Some day gekkos are known to be widespread on those islands and on the East African coast, while others are endemic to certain islands. These animals inhabit forests and coastal vegetation, and exhibit an exclusively daytime lifestyle. Some species occur in houses and buildings. The day gekkos feed on insects and nectar. On these photos, you can see common species of day gekkos from Mahe and Praslin. 2019-2020.
