| Description |
English: Dawn alpenglow on field barn. Since the 1190230 a little further from the houses has been converted and is now lived in, this tiny and very decrepit field barn seems to be about the only building left in Boldron yet to be put to good use. A little nearer the village, crop marks and old ditches suggest that there used to be more buildings east of the present extent of the village. Perhaps it is more likely that this one will eventually leave no more trace than that. The shot was taken a couple of minutes after sunrise as the village began to wake up, though sheep and cows seemed to have been up and about for some time - no doubt finding it hard to scratch a breakfast out of the frozen field. |
