Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Dawlish beach from the railway The railway from Exeter to Teignmouth turns westward after reaching Dawlish and follows the coast. There is some beach exposed here, though the tide is fairly high. Despite the overcast conditions, there were nevertheless people swimming. Beyond here, the railway line cuts through the famous Devonian Old Red Sandstone. The date of 1980 is approximate.
