Description

Species: Davidia involucrata Baillon,1871.
Subspecies: Davidia involucrata ssp. vilmoriniana (Dode) J. Holub.
Common Names in Chinese: 光叶珙桐, guang ye gong tong.
Common Names in English: Dove Tree, Ghost Tree.
Common Names in German: Taschentuchbaum, Taubenbaum, „Aufwiedersehenbaum“.
Description: Leaves abaxially glabrous or scarcely pubescent when young, sometimes abaxially glaucous.

● Forests; 1500–2000 m. Guizhou, W Hubei, Sichuan.
