Description These industrial buildings on the block bounded by Central Avenue, Livingston Street, John Street, and Findlay Street in Cincinnati’s West End. Constructed between the early 20th Century and the mid-20th Century, the complex is made up of several buildings that fill much of the block, and once housed the David Shoe Company, now closed. Today, the complex appears to be empty and unmaintained when viewed from the exterior, and due to the close proximity to redevelopment in Over-the-Rhine and surrounded by centrally-located land currently underutilized and occupied by vacant and neglected buildings, as well as surface parking for trucks and cars.
