English: Daventry VOR This is Daventry VOR, VOR stands for VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range. It is a beacon used by aircraft to navigate around, they use these to stack over too. Known to Pilots as DTY VOR on 116.4 there is a network of these around the country, the next one north is "Hon" just South of Birmingham, to the South is Cranfields VOR near Milton Keynes. |
