Deutsch: Wie aus dem Nichts erhebt sich der mächtige Gebirgsstock des Montserrat aus der Ebene zirka 40 Kilometer nordwestlich von Barcelona / Spanien. Wild und majestätisch ragen seine Felsnadeln empor.Viele Mythen und Legenden ranken sich um seine Entstehung.Mittendrin schmiegt sich in 725 Metern Höhe das gleichnamige Kloster wie ein Adlerhorst an seine Felswände. Im Laufe seiner fast 1000 -jährigen Geschichte ist das Kloster Montserrat zum Nationalheiligtum der Katalanen und zum wichtigsten Hüter der katalanischen Kultur geworden. |
