Deutsch: Arbeiten eines Persianermuffs.
Fig. M zeigt wie ein Muff aus 3 Fellen gemacht werden kann. Fell 1 bleibt ganz und erhällt zur Verbreiterung die Seiten von Fell 2. Das Mittelstück von Fell 2 wird in die Mitte des Felles 3 gesetzt. Auf diese Weise erhällt man ein in der Locke gleich­mässiges Muffblatt.
Fig. E bringt zur Ansicht wie die Felle in eine breite Etole zu stehen kommen. Um den Krotzen in der Mitte zu behalten nimmt man im geschweiften Oberteile ein Stück aus dem inneren Fell 1 und setzt es in das äussere Fell 2. Quernäthe sind wie Fell 3 und 4 angehen in Zackenform zu machen damit sie unsichtbar werden.
Aller Abfall von Persianer ist leicht zu verwenden. Man sortiert dieselben zuächst nach Locke und Rauche. Das heisst man schei­det sie in Krotzen- Pumpf- Seiten-, Hals- und Kopfstücken und verarbeitet jede Sorte für sich allein. Klauen werden zu Tafeln zusammengestellt.
