Deutsch: Das Felsenmeer (ein Teil des Naturschutzgebiets „Felsberg bei Reichenbach“) befindet sich in Lautertal/Odenwald und in dem schönen Bundesland Hessen. Am Fuße des Felsenmeers kann man das Felsenmeer-Informationszentrum (auf dem Foto rechts) besuchen, das ist die zentrale Anlaufstelle im Bereich des Felsenmeeres für Besucher und die einheimische Bevölkerung. Durch Ausstellungen, Bildvorträge und auch aus einer Präsenzbibliothek kann man alles Wissenswerte über den UNESCO-Geopark Bergstraße-Odenwald, den Felsberg, das Felsenmeer und dessen Entstehungsgeschichte in Erfahrung bringen. Aber auch vom Wirken der Römer im Felsberg und der Menschen in der Neuzeit (Steinindustrie) wird berichtet. Den Besuchern stehen für Erklärungen und weitergehende Fragen qualifizierte Mitarbeiter/innen zur Verfügung. Informationsmaterialien wie Wanderkarten, Broschüren – nicht nur aus der Region des Felsbergs – aber auch kleine Andenken und Souveniers können im Informationszentrum erworben werden. Für alle Altersgruppen stehen Führungen zu unterschiedlichen Themenbereichen in englischer und französischer Sprache zur Verfügung. Dem Informationszentrum ist ein Cafe-Bistro angeschlossen, in dem der Besucher unter anderem auch Odenwälder Küche angeboten bekommt. Ein großer, terrassierter Biergarten lädt ein zum Verweilen und Ausruhen. |
