Description

Dartmouth was a bit of a challenge to take pictures of because he is super friendly! He wanted to be right NEXT TO ME all the time.

About Dartmouth, from SCAT's website: Dartmouth is a small adorable copy of a cartoon tuxedo cat. He has little jowlies like a tom cat, but is still a youngster. Dartmouth is still a little bit of a fixer-upper house cat who needs a home where patience will ensure his transition to cherished pet. Dartmouth needs a little more experience interacting with humans to ensure that he does not bite hard during play. He loves to play, especially with mice on a string that he can kick with his back feet. He loves his chow and will do a lot to get extra, including go in his carrier for a trip to the vet. He loves to brump with head and endures any amount of pets to his head and back. He is rarely heard to purr and when he does, he is extremely loud but sounds like a piece of heavy machinery that has not been used for a long time. Pickie-ups are allowed but eventually result in squirmy-downs. The Sylvias, his claws, are at present equally divided between trimmed and terrifyingly untrimmed. We catch them one at a time when they are napping. We think Dartmouth could learn to live happily with other cats. He is absolutely crazy to play; however, his youngest foster sibling is feeling rather threatened and seems to think he must eliminate Dartmouth. Dartmouth was abandoned outdoors during the winter and had to be trapped and darted for sedation. He has made enormous progress from terrified to plucky. He is just waiting for that perfect home now. Estimated date of birth of Dartmouth is February 4, 2015. Young, Male, Small
