A memorial was held in Waco for Kreder, one of seven crewmembers that perished following the crash of a C-130 off the California coast. The Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento based C-130 was conducting a search and rescue mission and a Marine Corps AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter from Camp Pendleton was on a training mission when the aircraft apparently collided over the ocean near San Clemente Island Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009.
