Tegningen er udført på den modsatte led en rykkerskrivelse med følgende ordlyd f.n. med pen og brunt blæk: "Assens, D 17 oct. 1851. / Hr. Gårdeier og Kunstmaler D. Dreyer, / Barløse / Vor egen Pengeforlegenhed maa undskylde at vi høfligst anmoder Dem om velvillig / Betaling af vort Tilgodehavende 8 Rd og 10 S [?] og gjøre vi regning paa at De med næste Post vil bevise os den Tjeneste at tilstille os det. / Med agtelse, Ærbødigst / J I Hansen og Søn"; påskrift t.h.f.m. med pen og brunt blæk i Dreyers hånd (aldrig udført mindetavle over sin søster Margrethe, som døde den 1. dec. 1850) : "Mindetavle over J.G. Dreyer født i Assens / 1799. Død den 1. December 1850. I sit / hele Liv var hun virksom og trofast og faa / var opofrende som hende. opsat og / malet af hendes yngste Broder D. Dreyer / i Aar 1852"
