Duringthe World War his firm organized the largest wooden shipyardin the country, built fifteen wooden 3500-ton steamships for theUnited States Shipping Board and also several munition factories.During his career as an engineer he has resided in Clinton, Mass.,Waltham, Mass., Concord, N. H., Fall River, Mass., Hatfield,Wis., Copperfield, Ore., New York City, Bonny Eagle, Me.,Augusta, Ga., and Manchester, N. H.
