Bahasa Indonesia: Taman Nasional Bantimurung-Bulusaraung merupakan taman nasional yang membentang di dua kabupaten sekaligus, yakni Kabupaten Maros dan Kabupaten Pangkep. Taman nasional ini memiliki kekhasan berupa ekosistem karst. Karst dikenal sebagai penyimpan cadangan air yang baik bagi alam. Di salah satu bagian dari kawasan ini, tepatnya di sekitar Air Terjun Bantimurung, terdapat sebuah danau yang sangat tenang dan memiliki air yang jernih kebiruan. Danau Toakala namanya. di area danau ini, terdapat dataran kecil di samping danau yang menjadi tempat berkumpulnya kupu-kupu yang menjadi penghuni tetap taman nasional ini
English: Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park is a national park that stretches across two regency at once, namely Maros Regency and Pangkep Regency. This national park has a unique form of karst ecosystem. Karst is known as a good water reserves for nature. In a part of this area, precisely around Bantimurung Waterfall, there is a lake that is very calm and has clear blue water. This place is called Lake Toakala. in this lake area, there is a small plain next to the lake where butterflies gather. They are the permanent residents of this national park |
