Description
Norsk bokmål: Damplokomotivet "Kvenna" på Thamshavn stasjonsområde Damplokomotivet "Kvenna" (fk. av "Kaffekverna") ble kjøpt av Salvesen & Thams i 1906 fra Nesstun-Osbanen. De hadde fått det levert i 1893 fra Decauville-fabrikken i Frankrike. Loket var av type 6 i Decauville-katalogen. På Osbanen fikk lokomotivet navnet Stend, men gikk under navnet Rotten. På Thamshavnbanen ble det benyttet som anleggslok, og senere kislok og skiftelok fram til 1917-18 da det antagelig ble solgt.
English: The steam locomotive "Kvenna" at Thamshavn station area The steam locomotive "Kvenna" (f. of "Kaffekverna") was bought by Salvesen & Thams in 1906 from Nesstun-Osbanen. They had it delivered in 1893 from the Decauville factory in France. The locomotive was a type 6 in the Decauville catalogue. On the Osbanen, the locomotive was named Stend, but went by the name Rotten. On the Thamshavn line it was used as a construction locomotive, and later as a kislok and shift locomotive until 1917-18 when it was presumably sold.
