Summary
[edit]DescriptionDamon Murphy.jpg |
English: Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes, was honoured to host the visiting Classic Wallabies, Fiji Legends, Fijian Drua and Melbourne Rising on Saturday. Huge vinaka vaka levu to all the teams for the fantastic display of #rugby – and congratulations to the two home teams Fijian Drua and Fiji Legends, for winning their respective games against the Classics and Melbourne Rising! Shout out to the Golden Oldies Rugby club representatives who also showed up in numbers. We look forward to future rugby engagements and opportunities for Fiji and Australia to work together, especially through such a mutually loved sport. The Australian Government was proud to support Fiji Rugby host the Classics to spread the #rugbygospel to children around Fiji, also giving kids the chance to meet some of their rugby heroes. |
