Description
English: The green covered cenotaph was that of Saladin, until the white one next to it was installed and took over its function. The latter was provided by Abd al-Hamid in 1878. Restoration of the chamber was funded by by the German Kaiser as a tribute to Sultan Abd al-Hamid II. One of some pictures of the mausoleum with the tomb of Saladin.
