| Description |
English: At the west side of the mosque there is a square with a fountain, where all sorts of food are sold, and where at a spot to the southwest pigeons are fed. It is a good spot to spend some time if the mosque is not yet open. To the east of the square is the mosque, to the north the propylaeum and then the Suq al-Hamidiye. |
