Summary
[edit]DescriptionDaisy Geyser eruption (11 56 AM-12 noon, 19 May 2015) 10 (17545884304).jpg |
Daisy Geyser is the namesake of the Daisy Group in Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin. It is frequently active, with eruptions occurring about once every three hours. Strong winds are known to delay a Daisy Geyser eruption. Preplay consists of small splashing from two side vents. Daisy eruptions consist of moderately strong, continuous jetting and last about 3 to 4 minutes. Eruption columns are angled to the west (= to the left, when viewed from the trailside benches on the southern side of Daisy). Postplay consists of small chugging and splashing from the western side vent.
