Description

Azərbaycanca: Dairəvi qala (Zindan) Lənkəran qalası ilə eyni vaxtda, təqribən 1747-1786-cı illərdə inşa edilmişdir. Qalanın peyki, oxşarı olan ikinci tikili Mayakdır. Bu iki qala ümumi Lənkəran qala sisteminin iki tərəfdən dayaq məntəqələrinə çevrilmişdir. Hətta Lənkəran qalasının ümumi sahəsi Bakı qalasından, demək olar ki, iki dəfə böyük olmuşdur. Bu qala 1869-cu ilə kimi burada baş verən müharibələrdə mühüm müdafiə və dayaq məntəqəsi rolunu oynamışdır. Ərazinin rus qoşunları tərəfindən işğalından sonra ümumi qala divarları dağıdılmış və hərbi qala ləğv edilmişdir. Dairəvi qaladan isə həbsxana kimi istifadə edilməyə başlanılmışdır. Deyilənlərə görə, dustaqlar buraya Zindan ilə Mayak arasında olan gizli yeraltı yol ilə gətirilirmişlər. Bu da bura gətirilənlərin məxfiliyini təmin edirmiş. Dairəvi qaladan 1970-ci ilə qədər həbsxana kimi istifadə edilmişdir. Hal-hazırda içəriyə giriş yoxdur və tikilinin vəziyyəti pisdir.
