Description
English: Local habitat of Daggerpod (Phoenicaulis cheiranthoides) at 2,897 m (9,505 ft).
  • There are at least 10 daggerpod plants (in the late-flower, early-pod stage) in the bare-ground portion of this photo, on an exposed cliff top halfway up the west slope of the San Joaquin ridge.
  • Ansel Adams Wilderness, Sierra Nevada, California.
