This Shelette concept car was designed by Giovanni Michelotti, based on the Daf 32 platform, in 1966. It was offered to the Dutch royal family in 1967 on the occasion of the birth of prince Willem-Alexander, the first born son of crown princess Beatrix and her husband prince Claus. The family used the car at their Italian vacation home in Porto Ercole, Tuscany.
