English: Oladeji Dada Arowosafe popularly is known as Daddy Dobia. The talented Afrobeats star, who has a lot going for him in his chosen carrier was born in the 1980's. The soft spoken gentle man has also earned several appellations including, Buffalo Soldier , Compose Master, Mushinist (A Lagos, Nigeria popular country which has produced several music star and was also where the Kalakuta Shrine of Afro Beat Legend, Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti was located) from his teeming fans both back in his home country, Nigeria, Ghana and other west Africa countries not leaving out North American countries of USA and Canada.
The respected recording artiste, songwriter and performer started his music career in the 1990's. This was during his high school days when he was in a group of 4 called Tha Breed Boiz. They performed then at several events, off-school shows, competitions and other private parties. In 2009 he released 2 singles ‘Onjo Mi Gan’ & ‘Bend Down Low’. The songs had a wide acceptance and hit several radio waves across his home country, Nigeria. In 2010 he released another set of singles called ‘Pata’ and ‘Buy You A Drink’. In the same year, Daddy Dobia traveled to Ghana on the invitation of Nigeria’s leading Celebrity and Showbiz Media Company, City People Media Group publishers of City People Magazine. The event was at the instance of the one year anniversary of the publication of City People Magazine, Ghana Edition. He performed on stage alongside another Nigerian Afrobeats star named Kas. His fresh new single entitled Make Money & Broke Ass has been rocking the airwaves across North America and several parts of the world. Daddy Dobia is presently based in New Jersey, United States. His genre of music is afro-hip hop/afro-pop dancehall. Essentially, Daddy Dobia is a unique artiste. No thanks to ability to sing on any kind of beat and make it a listening pleasure.
