DUR-C36AFE : Microburin : Mesolithic
Description
English: A complete flint microburin of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in plan and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface has multiple negative scars with corresponding arrises. The lithic has two projecting spurs along the left hand side of the distal edge. The flake retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.

The flint is cream in colour.

Length: 10.12mm, Width: 9.73mm, Thickness: 1.77mm, Weight: 0.2 g.
