DUR-8F0922 : Nail Cleaner : Roman
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy Roman nail cleaner of Baldock type (AD 43-200). The object is composed of a circular suspension loop, prominent shoulders and a leaf-shaped blade. The lower functional end of the object is missing due to an old break. The form of the section is curved due to post-depositional processes. The metal is brown in colour with areas of green corrosion.
