DUR-4D27CE : Microburins : Mesolithic
Description
English: A group of 3 chert microburins of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The lithics have multiple negative scars with corresponding arrises. All of the flakes taper to points at the distal ends and have been blunted at the proximal end. None retain any cortex.

The chert is cream in colour. All flakes are tertiary.

Length: 17.12mm, Width: 8.75mm, Thickness: 2.04mm, Weight: 0.2g.
Length: 13.45mm, Width: 6.00mm, Thickness: 1.56mm, Weight: 0.1g.
Length: 10.56mm, Width: 4.92mm, Thickness: 1.16mm, Weight: 0.1g.
