PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. My main reason for taking this trip to Ottawa and Gatineau was to see these displays. I am not a gardener but these were a fantastic exhibit of more than 45 horticultural masterpieces showcased at Jacques-Cartier Park, the exhibit is designed with more than 5.5 million plants. Anne of Green Gables Welcomes you to the Mosaiculture Gatineau Exhibit - 2018. ON THE SIGN: We are greeted at the gates to the Little Prince’s garden by his precious friend, the Rose. “If someone loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars.” So says the Little Prince, but as Shakespeare says, “Love’s reason’s without reason” and sometimes love springs where we least expect it. “Oh! How beautiful you are. “exclaims the Little Prince when the flower gracefully emerges from her “green chamber.” “Am I not?” she replies, “and I was born at the same moment as the sun…” A simple box may also reveal its secrets. While the little prince waits fro a drawing of a sheep by his friend, the narrator explains: “This is only his box. The sheep you asked for is inside.” And the Little Prince replies, “That is exactly the way I wanted it!” |
