I like this artist so went out on a mission to find some of his other work... One had been removed in Commercial street E1 and another in Hanbury Street had been painted over.. But i did manage to find these three beauties.. Left Mel Butcher: Office Manager and Mother is painted in Croydon @ St Georges Walk. Middle Linette Kamala Artist & Teacher who campaigns for every child to have a quality education. Painting on Building in Somerleyton Road in Brixton. Right Friend and Mentee, Fungai, originally from Zimbabwe is painted on a wall near Bruce Grove Railway station in North london These three paintings are part of Dreph's "Are you enough" series.. <a href="http://dreph.co.uk/street/artist-series/" rel="nofollow">Here is a link to his website</a> Just as a side note, each of these pieces of art are painted on different backgrounds Hardboard ,Brick & plaster or cement.. I'm not sure if it affects spray painting as much as it would using a brush. But it does have some effects on the paintings longevity with adherence peeling etc.. I guess if it's painted on a wood background it could also be saved and moved at a later date. Wonderful paintings! I can't wait to find some more... |
