The B-form (Watson-Crick-Franklin model) structure of DNA compared to the A-, C-, and Z-forms, all in cartoon & stick form.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The a-, b- and c-forms are 15-mers of sequence 5'-CTGAC GTACC GTATA-3' and its complement; z-form is a 16-mer consisting of 8 repeats of 5'-GC-3'. Models were built using the Fiber tool at x3DNA.org (http://web.x3dna.org/index.php/fibermodel) to create a pdb file of the structures, and then visualized using First Glance in Jmol (https://www.bioinformatics.org/firstglance/fgij/)
