Description
English: US Marine Corps Sergeant Jordan Brooks, with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit's 2nd Recon Batalllion takes a defensive position while on patrol in coordination with Greek Marines during the annual bi-lateral exercise ALEXANDER THE GREAT in Volos, Greece. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked aboard the three ships (not shown) of the NASSAU Amphibious Readiness Group, USS NASHVILLE (LPD 13), USS PENSACOLA (LSD 38) and USS NASSAU (LHA 4). The NASSAU ARG and 24th MEU (SOC) are on a routine six month deployment to the US Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean.
