Deutsch: Heißdampf-Tandemmaschine. Bei der Heißdampfmaschine wird der Dampf nach Verlassen des Kessels weiter erhitzt, wodurch Heißdampf entsteht, welcher wegen seiner hohen Temperatur mehrfach genutzt werden kann, ohne zu kondensieren. In der Tandemmaschine geschieht dies im kleinen Hochdruck- und im größeren Niederdruckzylinder. Aufgrund der komplizierten Dampfsteuerung erlangten diese Maschinen nur geringe Verbreitung.
