English: Correct way of wiring of schuko plug (for DIY). In my country national safety board says, that fires are regularly caused by selfmade extension cords. Of course, it is composed fact for the justification of it's activity; but let's have a look how to wire the European plug correctly and safety:

• 1) Take certified for 250V 16A schuko plug and certified to pass 16A cable 3G1.5 with all required stamps on it. Certificate stamps is something like guarantee of their proper work.
• 2) Disassemble the plug and strip the insulation.
• 3) Pass the cable through the clip and clamp it (but don't overclamp); also strip the wires on required length and twist it.
• 4) Put twisted wires to the terminals and clamp it (load wires usually are not polarised, but yellow-green should be put to the ground terminal). It you clamp terminals weakly, you risk to overheat it and melt and sometimes melting can outgrow to the fire. If you overclamp, you risk to damage wire and terminal and plug wouldn't be valued to use.

5) If everything is done correct, finish your work by putting the cover.
