Description
English: How to wire dimmer switch. To avoid any accidents in future, let's have some arrange - if you have any doubts, don't do this work at all.

But if you feel yourself sure to do this work, let's get to work:

  • Step 1: Take dimmer switch and remove old switch from your lamp;
  • Step 2: Disassemble dimmer switch and strip the cable, if fixing clip has no blade you should take more longer ground wire;
  • Step 3: Connect the wires correct way: hot incomes from fuse to "L" terminal and outgoes to the light bulb from "↗" terminal ("↗" means "regulated");
  • Step 4: Clamp the clip;
  • Step 5: Close the cover;
  • Steps 6-8: Check efficiency;
  • Step 9: Enjoi of using dimmer switch if everything is done correct!

Some instructions:

  • a) Don't control flourescent bulbs by such type dimmer, there should be special ballast with related to flourescent lamps dimmer switch!
  • b) Don't ever try to short the fuse, cause it may make the fire!
  • c) Don't overload this installation, don't overlimit specified power to avoid fire!
