On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, the LBJ Presidential Library and the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music at Monmouth University opened a new exhibition Music America: Iconic Objects from America's Music History. The exhibition will be on display through August 11, 2024.

The exhibition features more than one hundred objects representing the best of American music, spanning decades and genres. Music America is curated by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music in association with the New Orleans Jazz Museum and Hard Rock International, along with dozens of prominent collectors of American music ephemera.

    "​Music America: Iconic Objects from America's Music History tells the complex story of American music through instruments, hand-written original lyrics, books, photographs, costumes, and other objects from major artists performing in all walks of American music in different decades and portrays the story of those artists who contributed to it.
