The ambassador later delivered public remarks at the LBJ Library's Vietnam War Summit.
Ut also participated in the Vietnam War Summit. He was part of a panel discussion about "The Power of Picture" during the Vietnam War Summit. Ut won a Pulitzer in 1973 for his photo of Vietnamese children fleeing their village after a napalm bombing. The Vietnam War Summit continues through April 28.
