DEV-0ACE07 palm guard
Description
English: Cast copper alloy palm guard, probably Post Medieval. It is flat and circular with three regularly spaced lobed knops projecting from the outer edge. The back is plain with no evidence of attachments. The front has a raised rim within which is a series of punched circular indentations. It is 24.5mm in diameter, 31mm including the knops, and 5mm thick. For a similar example, see SUSS-864CD1, from which the discussion (below) is taken.
