Object history
Deutsch: Die zwei Wellensparren stehen für die Wasserläufe des Gemeindegebiets, die Sempt und den Schwielbach, und reden zugleich für den Ortsnamen Wörth (wasserumspültes Land). Der rot gekrönte Mohrenkopf ist das heraldische Symbol des Hochstifts Freising, das vom Hochmittelalter bis zur Säkularisation zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts im Gemeindegebiet begütert war und die Entwicklung allgemein stark prägte. Für das 12. Jahrhundert ist Wörth als Sitz bischöflicher Ministerialen belegt.
