Deutsch: Die Verbandsgemeinde Maxdorf besteht aus der Gemeinde Fußgönheim und den jungen Orten Maxdorf, Sitz der Verbandsgemeinde, Birkenheide, die im vergangenen bzw. erst in diesem Jahrhundert entstanden sind. Gerade bei Maxdorf spiegelt sich die Gründungsgeschichte durch die Darstellung der bayrischen Rauten und einer Krone in Erinnerung an den namengebenden bayrischen König im Wappen wider. Wie aus dem Wappen von Maxdorf die Krone , so wurde aus dem von Birkenheide das Mühlenrad, Hinweis auf die Eyersheimers Mühle, in das Wappen der Verbandsgemeinde aufgenommen. Für Fußgönheim steht der Adler, Hinweis auf die Leininger, die Rechte in diesem Ort besaßen. Der Göpel ist die heraldische Darstellung eines vor dem Rathaus Maxdorf errichteten und Einheit der Ortsgemeinde symbolisierenden Denkmales. |
