Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen mit dem Brunnen als einem auf den Ortsnamen bezogenen „redenden" Motiv begegnet bereits in dem 1721 gestochenen Fleckensiegel, wo der Wappenschild von einem Bauernpaar gehalten wird und von einer gestürzten Pflugschar (dem Ortszeichen Tiefenbronns?) überhöht ist. Anlässlich der Bereinigung der Gemeindesiegel und -wappen in Baden kam es 1903 lediglich zu einer besseren Zeichnung des im 19. Jahrhundert entstellten Siegelbilds. Erst 1966 wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Generallandesarchiv der Brunnen als eigentliches Wappenbild bestimmt und die Tingierung des Wappens festgelegt, das zusammen mit der Flagge am 30. März 1966 vom Innenministerium verliehen wurde. Nach der Vereinigung mit Lehningen und Mühlhausen (1972) wurden das Tiefenbronner Wappen und die Flagge beibehalten. Die Neuverleihung erfolgte am 15. Februar 1979 durch das Landratsamt Enzkreis.
