Deutsch: Der Ort Sasbach war seit dem 14. Jahrhundert Zubehör der Limburg. Burg und Herrschaft kamen 1457 als österreichisches Lehen an die Grafen von Tübingen und nach deren Aussterben 1645 an die Freiherren Girardi von Kastell. Das Vollmachtsformular der Gemeinde zur Huldigung gegenüber Großherzog Karl von 1811 ist mit dem ovalen Gemeindesiegel beglaubigt, das, wie spätere Siegel auch, eine dreizipfelige Fahne mit einem linksgewendeten Löwen zeigt. Eine dreilatzige rote sogenannte Kirchenfahne in Gold war das Wappen der Grafen von Tübingen. Die Freiherren von Girardi führten in ihrem mehrteiligen Wappen unter anderem in zwei schwarzen Feldern je einen goldenen Löwen. Fahne und Löwe sind also als heraldische Zeichen der Ortsherrschaften in das Siegel gekommen. Als solche sind sie auch auf Grenzsteinen im 18. Jahrhundert angebracht. 1902 wurde das Wappen in vereinfachter und heraldisch verbesserter Form festgelegt, die Flagge am 15. September 1971 vom Innenministerium verliehen. |
