Deutsch: Der obere Teil des Wappens entstammt einem Siegel aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert. Das Pferd steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Der Turm deutet auf die Ruine der Burg Straufhain hin; er wurde dem neuen Gemeindewappen hinzugefügt. Die Farben weisen auf die frühere Zugehörigkeit zum Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg hin. English: The arms are granted on December 14, 1954. The upper part are derived from a seal of the late 18th century. The horse is canting for the name of the village. The tower symbolises the ruin of Straufhain castle. The colours are the colours of Saxe-Coburg. |
