Deutsch: Nach der Eingliederung von Goldburghausen am 1. April 1972 und Utzmemmingen am 1. Januar 1973 legte die Gemeinde Pflaumloch einen neuen Gemeindenamen und das obige Wappen fest, das vom Innenministerium am 31. August 1973 samt der Flagge verliehen wurde. Der wachsende Reichsadler in der oberen Schildhälfte bezieht sich auf den Besitz und die Rechte, die das Spital beziehungsweise die Reichsstadt Nördlingen in allen Gemeindeteilen, vornehmlich aber in Goldburghausen innehatte. Der silberne Leistenschragen in der unteren Schildhälfte ist vom Wappen des Hauses Oeningen abgeleitet, das einst die Herrschaft in Pflaumloch und Utzmemmingen ausgeübt hatte. Die Grundfarbe Rot beherrschte schon die erloschenen Wappen der drei kommunalen Vorgängerinnen zumindest in der unteren Schildhälfte. |
