Deutsch: Die gekreuzten Abtstäbe weisen darauf hin, dass aus der Gemeinde Rehau zwei Äbte des Benediktinerklosters Münsterschwarzach hervorgingen. Der 1943 gestorbene Abt Plazidus Vogel, der Ehrenbürger der Gemeinde war und der 1959 gewählte Abt Bonifaz Vogel, ein Neffe des Abtes Plazidus. Das liegende Reh versinnbildet den Namen der Gemeinde. Die Farben Blau und Gelb nehmen gleichzeitig auf das Wappen der Grafen von Graisbach Bezug, die im Mittelalter Grundherren des Ortes waren.
